I'm me so I guess that explains why I'm at home tonight. Although boring times like this must really suck for you being on dialup. Currently passing the time here downloading season 9 episodes of South Park from southparkx.net If you've got unlimited access (instead of the so many hours a month plans) you should go there before you get off for the night and start a download. Click previous at the bottom of the screen to get to page 2 and go to the dl page for "Die Hippies Die", it's hilarious and worth the time to get it. Although you'll need Real Player to view it if you don't already have it installed.

It is legal to download them too, the creators of SP have given the go ahead for people to get the episodes off the net.

It was (a very poor) joke about wanting to achieve the same end of defeating liberals while using different means to get there.

Not only is she soft spoken, she's also humble. *L* I'm still willing to vote Republican though, just wanted to throw the other thing out there and see how people would react to it. It's be great if Tancredo could get the nomination but that's right up there with Al Gore becoming a dittohead. It's most likely going to be contest between Guliani and McCain.

Ugh... Nothing good on tv, nothing worth seeing in the theaters, nobody's even updating their blogs. Sooooo bored....

Didn't work. There must be an open tag in your post that's making everything that comes after it be bolded, even the comments.

It's not that we've just decided to suddenly start dumping on them. It's more along the lines of a whole lot of us have been biting our tongues for a long time for the sake of preserving the majority. Now that it's all lost and he's a lame duck who's still doing everything that ticked us off in the first place we're finally speaking our minds. We admit that we voted for him, but there really wasn't any other choice. It was him or John Fing Kerry. It wasn't as much a vote for him than one not to abandon our troops.

Of course the dems stood by Bubba. Having their cake and eating it too is standard operating procedure on the left. But we on the right, especially conservatives expect more of our leaders. We actually expect them to do what they say. One reason 3rd parties will never win is because people keep saying they'll never win. The reform party got 20% of the national vote in 92, that was amazing. The big problem with that party though was that it wasn't built on the message as much as it was a cult of personality built on Ross Perot. When he fizzled the party and it's ideals went with him. Today the hypocrite is building a facility down in Mexico...

One big problem with trying to reinject conservatism back into the Republican party is that during the last election most all the real conservatives lost! Burns, Santorum, Hayworth, they all lost and the national party is taking it as a sign that they need to go even farther left.

I worked my ass off for Burns. Stuffing envelopes, putting up yard signs and walking many miles knocking on doors even in the (literal) freezing rain. All while pulling my hair out watching the national party just sit back never answering the unending, year and a half long media blitz by the left. I asked people in the campaign office "Where are our ads??". I emailed the campaign president "Why aren't we responding??". And when we did put out a few ads they were cartoonish and insulting to which I tried to tell everyone "This is stupid! It's going to turn voters off!" but nobody listened. They all waited on their retarded 72 Hour Strategy. Because of people like me and in spite of our own campaign we lost by less than 2,000 votes. But it doesn't matter cause all you need to lose by is 1.

So allot of us are sick of the party ignoring the base, ignoring conservatism and implementing all these democrat ideas. I guess we've just lost faith that the party CAN be fixed anymore. And at the current rate, we see it being another 40 years before we have power again. The main thing that keeps us from unifying like the democrats is that whole "standards" thing. The left can break promises and even laws all day long and it won't matter. The power of hate will still make their sheep check the box marked "Democrat". We on the right won't vote Dem, but we're so frustrated we're ready to vote "Other".

*L* In the end our arguments can be broken down as such:

<i>SF: If we're going to get back to the business of running down democrats in the street, we need a new car!

LOF: No! Now more than even we need to make skid mark out of donks in THIS car!</i>

But in then according to what I've seen on DU.com doesn't that mean that Mike is actually a CIA employee and he's being hidden by Bush in a secret bunker under the Pentagon??

Hmmm, </strong>meta tag experiment...
