Atlas Shrugged Movie Moving Toward Release
![]()
The adaptation of Ayn Rand’s classic Atlas Shrugged to the big screen is moving forward. My brother (and Saturday co-host) Big Mike sent me and email with a link to an article, Atlas Shrugged Progress Report. Great news the script is almost complete.
Many producers have contemplated turning Atlas Shrugged, one of the 20th century’s most influential novels, into a film. So far, the latest undertaking seems to be going smoothly.
Atlas Shrugged the movie gets a great script writer.
As reported several months ago, Randall Wallace, who penned Mel Gibson’s Braveheart, was given the task of adapting the complex 1,100-page book by Objectivist writer Ayn Rand. According to the UK’s Guardian, the screenplay — aimed at only a two-hour running time — is nearly done, and production is scheduled to begin this year. (link)
Braveheart is one of my favorite movies. If Wallace can work his magic again, Atlas Shrugged the movie is going to be a must see movie on my list.

Ahh yes you are right. I am going to redesign the passionate america show post page with most of that stuff and I will add something to the sidebar that does not slow down the website. Thanks for noticing.
