First, I love the song and I must say I will be looking for her music to start doing well here in the south too.
Second, Mike, why is it so hard to believe that anyone from another country could possibly be a supporter of our President and our military? Is it just that hard to believe that other people who are not “stupid rednecks from the south” actually feel that deposing a murderous, lying, and just plain psychotic dictator from Iraq was A GOOD THING?
Lastly, if it was so hard to listen to, I cannot help but wonder why you did it, unless you are just a masochist.

Sonnabend was on at the end of my show but I believe the person you are speaking about as “drunk on air and dominates the show by talking about his time on welfare” that was Emperor Misha from Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler. Mike since you are such a great radio producer you should go to work for Air America. They need someone with your skills to teach them how to do good radio.

Okay, I’ll bite shithead…I tried to sign up THREE TIMES, Army, Navy, and Air Force…they didnt want me.I tried again two years later and was told not to come back.
I stand for people like President Bush indeed,.,a brave man who has waded through some horrific times and led through them with strength and courage.
You sneer at the US military…who the fuck are you to even dare to look upon them with anything less than the respect and appreciation they deserve..how dare you EVER imagine that you are in any position to judge anyone when by the moral paucity of your own pitiful statements,you prove that you care for no one but yourself.
You sit there and sneer and I am willing to bet that you have never taken responsiblity for anyone except yourself, that you are too much of a coward to have looked after anyone except yourself, and that you have never considered doing anything for anyone except yourself.
My job now is to fight the war at home, to stand for those overseas that you so glibly dismiss…I am proud to stand for freedom, to keep the light at home for those who will return.
I have faced death many times, have risked my life over and over for others..and in my own way have served with honour and distinction, have done much to help my fellow man and not been afraid to place my own life in danger in order to do so.
Where have you served, Mikey? What have you done for anyone else besides that selfish, self centred, liberal you?
What unit? Where? When?What rank? What speciality? Where did you serve, Mike?
In my own way, Mike..I have been a soldier…a soldier in the cause of life…and to the service of Mankind. What have YOU done, Mikey??
And lastly Mikey..the last alcoholic drink I had was over a year ago…you see, having been on 24 hr call year in and year out…with a pager or phone nearby knowing that I could be called out at any time day or night…I don’t drink. I may be needed to drive any time day or night..and that means I need to be stone cold sober.
I’ve made many sacrifices over the years..in the service of others.
Tell me, Mikey…if they asked you tomorrow…would you go?
Older as I am….if they asked me to serve…I’d go in a heartbeat.
