Could al Qaeda Nukes Be in America!
In the February, issue of the Passionate America Newsletter. I wrote a story about the possibility of al Qaeda having suitcase Nukes, possibly inside the US. I ran across an article on Men’s News Daily by Jim Manion called The Tea Leaves on Recent Terror Warnings - Nukes In Our Midst. This article is a must read.
What would happen if al Qaeda could kill 4 million Americans (mostly Republicans?) Would we postpone the elections, or would the Democrats win because of an attack that targets Republicans?

What in the hell makes you think that a nuclear attack would kill mostly Republicans? Nuclear bombs are non-partisan. Geographically speaking, the places most likely to be targets of such an attack are urban areas like NYC and DC, which are overwhelmingly Democratic. I highly doubt that AQ would waste a nuke on a Red State, given the fact that they don’t have as many people.

Why don’t you read the story that I linked to before making snap judgments. As close as the last election was it is possible that a small suitcase nuke could be targeted at the RNC and/or other Republican functions that are planned during the RHC. With al Qaeda’s attack in Spain (that had an influence on the election) do you not think al Qaeda might target attacks on what might do the most damage. Why don’t you read a little further into a story before you make snap judgments? Oh I forgot you base your judgments on feelings, instead of rational discussions.

I guess we both write silly stuff by your logic.

This has been a discussed within the intelligence community since the early 90’s. Some believed that a few (five)of these actually came into the country via the Mexico border but no real proof could be found. Then there were the apologists that said terrorists would never use them on American soil because of the threat of assured destruction when we hunted them down at all costs. 9/11 proved that way of thinking to be flawed.
Not that I ever believed that there were any within our borders, but if there were… Sometime in the next two months is when they would be used. I doubt they would do it in NY or DC because of the higher security and we expect that that is where they will use them. IF they use them it will be someplace we are not expecting it. That is how terrorists operate. They don’t like to expected.
