The primaries (unfortunately) are almost on top of us with Super Tuesday coming on February 5th. Now even though the candidates for the parties may seem to be predetermined by this point, get involved anyway! People like to complain about the selections they end up with but did you really do anything to try and make a difference otherwise?
The worst thing we could do as a society would be to just give up and let whatever happen cause that’s when “the fix” really will be in.

Very true, one of the reasons the Roman Republic fell apart was because people didn’t partake in their government: they didn’t run for positions (hardly a problem here) and they didn’t vote
Also, only 46% (I think that was the number) of eligible voters went to vote at the last presidential election. Bring your friends along (as long as they vote for your candidate! :P)
