Have You Heard Of Coworking?
Being a stay-at-home father I am always looking for ways to get out of the house and meet other adults that share my interests. Don’t get me wrong, I actually like hanging out with my 3 and 11 year old sons, but finding new friends closer to my age range would defiantly be a plus. So when I read a story on lifehack.org about Co-working vs Working-from-home it caught my attention.
What is coworking?
Coworking is basically like working from home and hanging out with other self employed people in an office/cafe like environment. Instead sitting in your home office (or on the couch) all day, you can have a place to go and meet other work from home people, work together, and share an office/cafe type place when you want to. It’s kind of like having a normal office job that you can goto when you want, work at your own speed, be around other self employed people like you, and still be your own boss.
I think coworking is such a great idea I am looking for a way to start a coworking office here in Moore Oklahoma. If coworking sounds like something you might be interested in checkout the Coworking Community Blog and Coworking Wiki for more information and to find a location in your are. If there are no coworking sites in your area this might be the perfect opportunity for you to start your own business creating coworking communities.

that sounds too much like REAL work instead of virtual work.
