I Will Not Vote For Congressman Duncan Hunter In 2008

Glenn Beck interviewed Congressman Duncan Hunter on his show today and he asked him several times, “What is wrong in Washington that they do not get the problem of illegal aliens and our border security.” Congressman Hunter would not answer the question. Glenn asks at least for times the same question four different ways and Congressman Hunter would not answer the question. I’ll be damned if I will vote for any candidate that will not answer this question.

The Republicans will not win the next election in 2008, I repeat, WILL NOT WIN THE ELECTION IN 2008 if they cannot or will not answer this question. At some point Americans will get fed up with this problem and will take border enforcement into their own hands. If their is another terrorist attack on America, Americans might decided they have had it with Washington and decide to enforce the law ourselves.

Why will no one in Washington publicly explain why it is that Washington has not and will not do anything real to stop illegal aliens from invading our country.

  1. Damn Bill, you’re starting to sound like a *gasp* CONSERVATIVE… :w00t:

  2. witch

It might help some to elaborate on where this congress critter hails from!
Congressmen represent us all in a collective fashion, but they are elected individually by their home state or district, therefore if we start holding the citizens of their home state or district accountable for the conduct of the people they elect to public office we might actually make a little progress over time.

I agree and the only choice I see is to vote out the republicans and shoot the democrats. Nothing in this case is better than what we have, and as proven in the past week the dhimmi’s are and will be total disaster. The country may not survive that long with all the assistance the dhimmi’s and their Antique MSM lackies are providing the terrorists, and we will have worried for nothing.

  4. This is why I will keep recommending everyone read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. The book has a strategy to fix America that will work.

    “Who is John Galt?” :face:

  5. Is this a joke? Hunter’s not my first choice either, but if you knew anything about the guy, you’d know he’s probably one of the 5 or 10 most solid politicians in Washington on the issue of border security. I didn’t see the interview you’re referring to, but I can only imagine he didn’t answer the question because he’s as dumbfounded as you are that congress doesn’t take border security more seriously. Hunter was one of the driving forces behind the recently passed “border fence” and has been lobbying to get the Democrats to follow through on building it, since it’s already been approved by Congress and the funds have already been allocated.

  6. Republicans aren’t going to win in ‘08 anyway. Why? Because they’ve learned nothing. Oh sure, there are a few who get it but most elected Republicans aren’t conservatives anymore. Maybe by ‘12 we’ll have some change of heart but ‘08 is lost already.
