Libtard Blogs Scamming Their Site Meter Numbers

**Passionate America Exclusive**

Those people out there I lovingly refer to as web geeks can help me out with this one. I was surfing the internet when I came across a blog called Rouge Statesman. I scrolled to the bottom of their right sidebar and there were these two ads for two Libtard blogs.

Now I am not going to link to them so I don’t help them inflate their Site Meter numbers, however if you look at the red arrows I added to the pictures you can see what I am talking about. They have added their Site Meter button to their ad so that each visitor to each site that displays their ad will count as a visitor to their site. I could be wrong but this looks like a deliberate attempt to inflate their site statistics. If you put your Site Meter counter on several different sites does it count each hit on those other sites as a hit on your site?

  1. Pretty sad when you have to resort to such lame tactics to inflate your traffic numbers.

FIAR wishes he thought of it first.

  2. Scrapiron

Just consider the class of people you are talking about and nothing more need be said.

  3. SeanS. I don’t want artificially inflated numbers. I want actual loyal and intentional visitors.

I’d like to have lots of them, yes, but phony numbers do nothing for me.

  4. If the reason to do it is to inflate your numbers in order to sell ads, then it’s unethical at best.

  5. Is having your psyche split and half of it move to PA so can you can get one more loyal reader unethical?

  6. FIAR, I meant it only as a joke. I know that your readers are well intentioned and loyal. I just wonder why my company is suddenly blocking your site… what have you put on there?

  7. Does anyone want to sell me ad space?
