They pretended emails were instant messages, that a 16 year old from Louisiana was the same as an 18 year old from California, and that Republican House leadership had been aware that Foley had sent sexual messages to an underage boy. The MSM helped advance the theory that all Republicans that had ever been made aware that Foley had sent an email should resign and be investigated endlessly. [...]
