    The clip is from a long-running and popular Japanese children’s show, ‘Pythagoras Switch’ — which is the name they’ve chosen for that general class of Rube Goldberg machine. The thing is, it’s an educational show that gets the kids thinking about cause and effect — in the physical sense — in unconventional ways.

    It’s sort of a ‘Sesame Street’ for fledgling engineers.
