My father fell from a tree
My dad called my mom and said he fell from a tree at deer camp. He went hunting for two weeks but he is headed home today. Not sure how hurt he is, but he said when he gets home we need to take him to the hospital. I’ll update later when I know his condition.
Update: My dad broke his hip. He was climbing the tree to set up his deer stand and he fell about 10 to 12 feet and landed on his hip. He will be alright, but they are keeping him over night to monitor him. Tomorrow they will compare his CT scan to one he had a few weeks ago (he has bad back problems and had surgery to fuse two of his vertebrae earlier this year.) If his back is ok he should be sent home tomorrow to recover from his broken hip. A broken hip is much worse than my broken pinky toe, but he is tough so he should be fine.
