New Direction: Wrong Way

Democrats say new direction which means the wrong way.

I keep hearing the phrase “New Direction” being regurgitated over and over by the party of terrorists Democrats. It reminds me of the game I play with my children when we are driving somewhere that I know they don’t want to go. My kiddies say something like, “Where are we going Daddy?” I point straight ahead, smile almost like the joker from batman, and say, “That WAY!” The kids crack a small smile and ask again, “No really where are we going?” To that I reply, “Over there.” This game continues until the kids are frustrated and stop asking questions.

By playing that game I have effectively conditioned my rug rats to stop asking where we are going. My 3 year old now instead of asking where are we going now says, “Daddy I can’t go that way” or “Wrong Way Daddy!” If the party of liars Democrats were driving the car I know my 3 year old would be smart enough to say, “Wrong Way Jackasses!” And that is where we are headed, a place you don’t really want to go and the party at the wheel points and says we are going, “That WAY!” Look out up ahead what does that sign say?

We are headed the WRONG WAY, to be more precise the road the party of death Democrats are leading us in is a DEAD END. Let’s examine the so-called “New Direction” the new Haunter Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is taking us. Here is Pelosi’s new direction from her website:

Democrats offer a New Direction, putting the common good of all Americans first for a change and will:

• Make Health Care More Affordable: Fix the prescription drug program by putting people ahead of drug companies and HMO’s, eliminating wasteful subsidies, negotiating lower drug prices and ensuring the program works for all seniors; invest in stem cell and other medical research.
• Lower Gas Prices and Achieve Energy Independence: Crack down on price gouging; eliminate billions in subsidies for oil and gas companies and use the savings to provide consumer relief and develop American alternatives, including biofuels; promote energy efficient technology.
• Help Working Families: Raise the minimum wage; repeal tax giveaways that encourage companies to move jobs overseas.
• Cut College Costs: Make college tuition deductible from taxes; expand Pell grants and slash student loan costs.
• Ensure Dignified Retirement: Prevent the privatization of Social Security; expand savings incentives; and ensure pension fairness.
• Require Fiscal Responsibility: Restore the budget discipline of the 1990s that helped eliminate deficits and spur record economic growth.

Before I start exposing the DEAD ENDS in their “New Direction” let’s examine their opening sentence.

Putting the common good of all Americans first unless you are, straight, married, Christian, white, male, conservative, logical, patriotic, wealthy, employed, a taxpayer, and American.

Make Health Care More Affordable:

You want to make health care more affordable? Build a wall on our southern border and send all the illegal aliens home that are stealing taxpayers dollars each day in our countries Emergency Rooms and Health Clinics. Also what the hell does federal funding of embryonic stem cell research have to do with making health care affordable? What the Democrats really want is universal health care so they can control your health care.

Lower Gas Prices and Achieve Energy Independence:

I agree let’s crack down on price gouging: repeal the 18.4 cent tax by the federal government on each gallon of gas. How about while we research new fuel alternatives we drill for more oil and build more refineries until we have new alternatives in place. The Democrats oppose new drilling because they really don’t want us to become energy independent oh and they don’t want to disturb a 129,000-member Porcupine caribou herd that migrates annually across the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). Democrats want to punish the people (Big Oil) that makes the gas that we use? Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

Help Working Families:

How many working families do you know that live on minimum wage? My wife makes $9 something an hour. We are a working family, raising the minimum wage wont increase our income one bit. What it will do is make everything we buy more expensive. Hey Democrats ever heard of INFLATION? It is a really simple concept. Raise costs to make a good and you have to raise prices of said good to offset the losses. Who pays? That’s right everyone. I can’t wait to pay $7 for a #1 combo at McDonald’s. You want to help working families shut down the IRS, stop stealing money from working families before they even cash their paychecks, and pass the Fair Tax.

Cut College Costs:

Great idea let’s cut College costs by taxing working families more? The GI Bill is a great way to go to college if you cannot afford it. Teach people how to make money instead of encouraging people to borrow money (become a slave.) Dave Ramsey has one of the best financial education plans I have ever seen. Teach Financial Peace University in all public schools.

Ensure Dignified Retirement:

To me dignified retirement means stop stealing money from my paycheck and give me control over determining my own future. Dignified means to empower people to control THEIR OWN FUTURE not wait each month for a Social Security check to came each money.

Require Fiscal Responsibility:

This is the most laughable point in the Democrats so called “New Direction.” I will admit the Republicans have been spending like Bill Clinton at a strip club, but Democrats requiring fiscal responsibility is like putting the rats in charge of the cheese, letting the fox guard the hen house, or expecting a liberal to make a logical statement, it is not going to happen. We already have record economic growth. Try this, stop spending the hard working tax payers money on your pork barrel projects, reduce the size of government, require Representatives and Senators to show up and actually work a 50 hour work week like most hard working Americans, cut off funding to the UN, send EVERY illegal alien home and require them to enter our country legally and demonstrate why they want to BECOME AMERICANS, and WIN THE WAR ON TERROR.

The Democrats are taking us in a “New Direction” alright, a dead end road called socialism lane that ends in a fiery crash and the destruction of the greatest country on earth, the United States of America.
