Remembering the 52 in London
One year ago, 52 innocents were killed in London, by Islamofascist terrorists. Over 700 people were injured in the attacks, which was the most violent attack in Britain since the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103. Let’s not forget that we are in a global war, and our allies are targets too. Today is a day to remember those who died, and remember who our enemy is.
More innocent lives across the sea
Like candles going out in a violent wind
Our enemies with Jihadist vengeance
Believing us infidels who have sinned
52 men and womens’ lives faded
Joined the many lives across the globe
Little is thought about or considered
What the 7/7 attacks forbode
Our enemies plot and continue attacks
Like the Rising Sun struck in December
But today is a day we join with allies
Bow our heads and remember
I know I am not the best writer, but I was inspired this morning to do something in tribute. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who lost love ones one year ago. Let us remember.
Thanks to Right on the Right for his heartfelt remembrance.
