Russia “almost certainly” tied to Iraq’s missing explosives!
Updates at the bottom of this post!
Hey John Kerry, NPR (audio) , Al Franken, and liberal Kool-aid drinkers, you’ve been caught lying again. Bill Gertz, the author of Treachery has a story in the Washington Times that says, “…the Russian troops, working with Iraqi intelligence, “almost certainly” removed the high-explosive material that went missing from th Al-Qaqaa facility, south of Baghdad.”
Pay special attention to the last paragrah of the story:
Defense officials said the Russians can provide information on what happened to the Iraqi weapons and explosives that were transported out of the country. Officials believe the Russians also can explain what happened to Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction programs.
Update (10/28 11:10am): Russia denies report.
Update (10/28 9:00pm): Local News Station Releases Video of Possible Missing Explosives. (story) Here is the video.
Update (10/28 9:37pm): An Anonymous jackass liberal, thought he would be a smart ass and comment on this post that there was video of the missing explosives. If you will look at the Update above, I already posted the video, 25 minutes before the non reading liberal idiot made his comment. Here is the aBS news story that he sourced.
Update (10/28 10:44pm): Drudge Report has another article from the New Yuck Times.
Update (10/28 11:08pm): Here is more info on the seal on the door in the video.
Update (10/28 11:23pm): NRO Kerry Spot has new info on this stroy

I saw this story today and was floored! I just had to blob about it.
Nice blog, keep up the good work!

Oh, OK, I guess Russia had nothing to do with it:
http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/story?id=206847“Barrels inside the Al-Qaqaa facility appear on videotape shot by ABC television affiliate KSTP of St. Paul, Minn., which had a crew embedded with the 101st Airborne Division when it passed through Al-Qaqaa on April 18, 2003 — nine days after Baghdad fell.
“Experts who have studied the images say the barrels on the tape contain the high explosive HMX, and the U.N. markings on the barrels are clear.”
Oh, well, nice try, wingers. Looks like Bush just lost the little game of “Time Bomb” he has been playing with the public.

Dear Anonymous,
If you could actually pull your head out of John Kerry’s ass long enough to read to post that you are commenting about you would notice that I posted the video you were referring to already. I saw a look on the door but no IAEA seals.

Guess you missed this part:
“The seal’s critical,” Albright said. “The fact that there’s a photo of what looks like an IAEA seal means that what’s behind those doors is HMX. They only sealed bunkers that had HMX in them.”

But got to give you credit for the scoop that invalidates your original point.

Where is this IAEA seal picture? It’s not in the video!

The National Review article cited at NRO Kerry Spot missed scrolling a little further down the table it references. “1.1D” is also applied to:
“RDX and HMX mixtures, wetted with not less than 15 percent water by mass or RDX and HMX mixtures, desensitized with not less than 10 percent phlegmatizer by mass”
http://www.faqs.org/faqs/sci/chem-faq/part3/section-2.htmlnotes that:
“RDX and HMX are substantially desensitized when mixed with TNT or coating with polymer/elastomer binders.”
More info:
“HMX is used as an explosive charge when desensitized, as a booster charge in mixtures with TNT (octols), and as an oxidizer in solid rocket and gun propellants.”
That is to say that the label CAN properly apply to these substances in a dry state.
The National Review author’s mouse hand must have tuckered out before he got that far, or else maybe he was trying to confuse the issue long enough to run out the clock before Election Day.

Bill Gertz’ story in the Washington Times that says, “…the Russian troops, working with Iraqi intelligence, “almost certainly” removed the high-explosive material that went missing from th Al-Qaqaa facility, south of Baghdad,” now appears to be BS.
That’s the last time I take his word for “almost” certainty. Oh yeah, the Times is that “Moonie” paper.
I truly respect your reverence for the Rev. Moon as a beacon of journalistic light, but excuse me if I look for credible news elsewhere.

Only thing I see that we agree on: Triumph The Insult Comic Dog was hilarious after the third debate.
