A lifelong Reagan Conservative, I’ve been a political junkie since the 5th grade. Marine Corps veteran, blogger, WWII buff, MCSE trained internet junkie and “swing kid” are among the many hats I wear. Been half way around the world and it’s only made me love and appreciate this country even more.
One day when my life had literally hit rock bottom and I was contemplating ending it, I had an experience. That experience made me sure beyond any doubt of 3 things.
- God exists
- He is paying attention and
- Things happen for a reason
In my case, I’m being tested. For what, what the test includes, when or if I ever pass it…all these things I don’t know and I doubt that I ever will. But the insight I gained that day in the form of 3 little words has helped give me the strength to overcome PTSD and continue surviving the many trials I’ve been faced with since.
In addition to posting on Passionate America I also have a blog at Livejournal, though I generally keep the 2 places separate. The Chronicles of ShadowFox
