Soldier Finds “Direction And Purpose” In Iraq

Liberals say they believe in choice, but they don’t want American soldiers to have the choice of going to Iraq. Some Americans would rather be in Iraq where they feel they have “direction and purpose.”

Leaving on a Jet Plane

OK, for those few of you who do not know, I have made a decision. I am going back into the Army and getting stationed in Germany. Yes yes yes, I am fully aware that this means that i am most likely going to be back in Iraq before too long, trust me, I have already considered that and it really doesn’t bother me too much.
As frightening as it may seem, I can actually stand being in IRAQ better than I can stand being in America! At least over there, I have a direction and a purpose. I am paid better than here AND am given positions where I can use my skills and experience.
I am sick and tired of everywhere i go, some liberal hippie telling me what they think of Bush and what I am fighting for and how “things are over there” when they have absolutely no knowledge other than what they read on some website that was written by some guy who doesn’t know anything except what he read on some website! Seriously, it’s either get myself out of the situation or start punching people in the face!
Speaking of which, I always notice that the same people who like to talk about this and that as if they are experts have never served in the military. They have never stood up and faught FOR the country, only stood up and faught AGAINST it. I sat down one night and asked myself “What’s worth fighting for?” My answer sure as hell wasn’t all those people! It wasn’t for THEIR ideas or THEIR principles……..for the most part, they are a severe perversion of the ideas and principles that I WILL fight for. They are the waste that is left over from all the good things that I WILL fight for. I will fight for the Iraqis who want a decent life and a little bit of freedom (while shooting at the terrorist bastard Iraqis) before i will fight for those people.
I intend to keep in touch and will come back occasionally for vacation, so it’s not like i am disappearing forever. I wish everyone the best and hope to see or at least hear from you all before I go, which should be sometime before the end of February. Bye for now! (link to myspace post)

Dear liberals if you cannot say anything good about this country and our countries’ heroes, keep your ignorant opinions to yourself or someone might just become feed up with your anti-Americanism and punch you in your big mouths.
