Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Reported Dead

**Updates at bottom**

(via Pajamas Media and Right on the Right)

Ayatollah Ali KhameneI just recieved an email from Real Teen at Right on the Right, Pajamas Media is reporting:

A source close to Pajamas Media has learned that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has apparently succumbed to the cancer that hospitalized him last month, as exclusively reported by Pajamas Media, at age 67. He has been Iran’s most powerful figure since replacing Ayatollah Khomeini in the role of Supreme Leader in 1989.

This is a major breaking news story. Real Teen says:

A radical man [Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei] who supports President Ahmadinejad and supports terrorism, is dead in Iran. This could mean major changes, especially depending upon who replaces him. There is talk that Ahmadinejad himself wants to go for the position…I think this is the time to act if we’re going to remove Iran from the picture. If Ahmadinejad gains any more power in the region, and obtaining this post would do that, he’s going to be more than a puppet master, he’s going to be a legitimate force. An Ahmadinejad regime would be even more radical than Khamenei’s. Right now, there is a lack of leadership in Iran, and we need to act, or it’s possible that we may miss an amazing chance. I wish these were the days where we sent the CIA in and caused chaos.

It will be interesting and possible frightening to watch how this story develops. Something big is coming from the direction of Iran. This could be the spark that ignites the world on it’s way to full scale World War.

Update: Reuters is reporting:

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - Iran’s U.N. ambassador denied on Friday reports circulating on the Internet that Tehran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, had died.

“We checked last night and there is no truth to it,” Javad Zarif, Iran’s chief envoy to the United Nations, told Reuters about the reports, which first appeared on Web sites on Thursday.

Well the supreme ragheaded sandmonkey might not be dead after all. I’ll keep you informed.

  5. RT

That’s good because I don’t know you and all. :)

  6. I don’t believe it’s going to be a harbinger or anything. (How ever the F you spell his name) has just lost an ally in a country that getting ever more vocal in opposition to him. After all we heard big promises and retortic from them after Zarqawwi died but the lose of their tactical genius has been all that’s shown. Khamenei was a man they can’t replace. I say Huzzah!

Also, I don’t know if anyone’s thrown you the link but there’s a cool remix of Open Season out there now. It’s a combo of it and For the Cause of Allah along with footage from arabic tv. The woman in the later clips is named Ghada Jamshir. I don’t know how she isn’t dead yet.
