Who is Wild Bill?

I was born on July 15th, 1974 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. My mama named me William Kerr, but my brother Big Mike and most of my friends call me Wild Bill. I was asked once if I could describe myself with one word what would it be. The first word that popped into my head was Passionate. While I was in college I started writing a newsletter that I called Passionate America. I soon discovered printing a newsletter can be expensive. I discovered blogging while looking for a more cost effective way to continue publishing. PassionateAmerica.com was born in a very tiny one bedroom apartment on May 28th, 2004.

More about Wild Bill

I spent a short time in the Navy and left with an honorable discharge. I found out a lot about myself in the Navy. Among the most important things I learned was that I can do anything if I believe I can. The day I left the Navy I drove 14 hours straight back to Oklahoma City and the first place I stopped was an Arby’s where my best friend at the time worked. Little did I know the woman that came to the drive-thru window that night I would marry 4 months later. One year later we had our first of 2 sons.

I am a professional car audio and home audio installer. I have owned my own car audio business. I have visited almost the entire United States building consumer electronics stores. After a 2 month job in New York City I was laid off, which at the time completely crushed me. I had not been without a job since the age of 14. I searched for a job but could not find one that paid even half of what I was making. So I decided to go back to college. Two months later my wife was pregnant with our second son and we decided since she stayed home with our first son I would stay home with our second.

Some Facts about Wild Bill

• In 5th grade I won 1st place in the state of Oklahoma for my science project
• In 11th grade I was the president of FBLA at my school
• I have traveled to 45 of the 50 states here in the United States
• I love papillon dogs
• I have 2 cockatiels, BB and CC
• On July 15th, 2006 I hosted my first first episode of The Passionate America Show on Wide Awakes Radio
• On October 4th, 2006 Ms. Underestimated and I broke national news by revealing the name of one of the congressional pages in the Mark Foley scandal.

What does the future hold for Wild Bill

I am of the unwaivering belief that I can do anything I set my mind to. I am currently studying everything I can find about WordPress and website design. I enjoy designing and working on Passionate America so much I thought why not make a living doing what I love. Very soon I hope to be able to design you the website of your dreams. I will be a nationally syndicated radio talk show host one day. Also I am currently working on a few books that I will publish someday.
